This was originally a piece responding to events in Gaza - it developed into a commentary on my relationship with fame. I was a stand up comedian for many years and worked in TV and saw how fame can warp people’s relationships.
The top evokes mountains and clouds and also frames up the outline of a face while the bottom is a grid work of fields representing the real stuff of life that I ignored for many years in pursuit of fame.
